Solar PV Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Solar PV Design Engineer to join our dynamic renewable energy team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing efficient and innovative photovoltaic systems that contribute to sustainable energy solutions worldwide. Responsibilities: - Conduct detailed solar PV system designs including layout, electrical schematics, and component specifications. - Perform site assessments and feasibility studies to optimize system performance and comply with local regulations. - Collaborate with project managers, electrical engineers, and procurement teams to ensure seamless project execution. - Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and assist in the preparation of tender documents. - Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, PVsyst to model and simulate solar systems. - Stay updated with the latest solar technologies, industry trends, and regulatory standards in the UAE and globally. - Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases. - Ensure designs meet safety standards and client requirements while optimizing cost-effectiveness.

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience in solar photovoltaic system design. - Strong knowledge of solar PV technologies, electrical design principles, and relevant standards. - Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, and similar tools. - Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and innovation. - Good communication and teamwork abilities to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams. - Familiarity with renewable energy policies and international grid connection requirements is a plus. - Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects within deadlines. - Fluency in English.
