Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join a luxury lodge in Hluhluwe. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on and creative chef with a strong background in luxury lodge or 5-star hospitality, excellent culinary skills and a passion for delivering consistently high-quality dining experiences.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef within a luxury lodge, hotel or 5-star environment
  
• Relevant culinary qualification
  
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation and kitchen operations
  
• Excellent understanding of food hygiene and health and safety standards
  
• Strong leadership and communication skills
  
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy kitchen
  
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  
• Passionate about quality, creativity and exceptional guest experiences
  
• Willingness to live and work in a remote lodge environment
