PRODUCT MANAGER – BACKING SERVICES

Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Product Manager specializing in Backing Services to lead strategic initiatives across three critical infrastructure domains: Cache as a Service (Cache-aaS), Database as a Service (DBaaS), and Storage as a Service (Storage-aaS). This pivotal role involves stewarding the growth and commercial success of our established Cache-aaS platform while simultaneously driving the end-to-end development, discovery, and launch of new DBaaS and Storage-aaS offerings from the ground up. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical acumen and a proven track record in managing complex product lifecycles within the cloud services sector.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute the comprehensive vision, value proposition, and strategic roadmap for the Cache-aaS portfolio, ensuring sustained market growth and optimized commercial performance.
  
• Spearhead the zero-to-one journey for the DBaaS product line, leading initial market discovery, feature definition, development coordination, and successful market entry.
  
• Drive the productization and automation of manual workflows for the Storage-aaS initiative, transforming concepts into scalable, automated solutions.
  
• Oversee the full product lifecycle management, including roadmap planning, commercial strategy, and performance tracking for all backing service offerings.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product development with business objectives and customer needs.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum of 9 years of professional experience in product management, with a specific focus on infrastructure services.
  
• Demonstrated hands-on expertise in managing Cache-aaS, DBaaS, and Storage-aaS products.
  
• Proven ability to manage mature products while simultaneously building new offerings from scratch.
  
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, service automation, and commercial modeling.
  
• Ability to articulate a clear product vision and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
  
• Must be available to join within 15 days of offer acceptance.
  
• Competitive compensation expectations aligned with the range of ₹40–43 LPA.
