Our client, a well-established precious metals trading organisation based in Dubai, is seeking an experienced Responsible Sourcing & Compliance Officer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a compliance professional who is passionate about ethical business practices, regulatory excellence, and responsible sourcing within a highly regulated international trading environment. Reporting into the Compliance Department and working closely with senior management, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring all precious metals traded by the business are sourced responsibly, ethically, and in accordance with both local and international regulatory standards. You will be responsible for conducting supply chain due diligence, managing compliance documentation, undertaking KYC and counterparty assessments, monitoring transactions for potential risks, and supporting the organisation's AML/CFT framework. In addition, you will coordinate internal and external audits, maintain compliance records, prepare regulatory reports, and help develop and implement policies that support the company's commitment to responsible sourcing and ethical trade.
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related discipline and possess a minimum of five years' experience within compliance, AML/CFT, responsible sourcing, or a related risk management function. Previous exposure to the gold, precious metals, commodities, or financial services sectors would be highly advantageous. A strong understanding of OECD Due Diligence Guidance, DMCC regulations, FATF recommendations, and UAE Ministry of Economy requirements is essential, alongside excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage sensitive information with the highest level of integrity and confidentiality. This role will suit a proactive and commercially aware compliance professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to upholding the highest standards of governance, transparency, and ethical business practice. In return, our client offers the opportunity to join a respected organisation at an exciting stage of its growth and contribute to the ongoing development of its compliance and responsible sourcing framework.
