About the Opportunity

Alegría Travel Services is looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Independent Travel Agents. This is a flexible, remote opportunity for individuals who enjoy travel, customer service, sales, and helping others create memorable trips.

As an Independent Travel Agent, you will work with clients to research, plan, and book travel while building your own client base and travel business with support and training provided.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with planning and booking vacations, flights, hotels, cruises, tours, car rentals, and other travel services.

- Research travel options and create customized recommendations based on clients' needs and budgets.

- Communicate with clients before, during, and after their trips.

- Manage bookings, changes, and travel-related requests.

- Build and maintain strong client relationships.

- Generate new clients through networking, referrals, social media, and personal marketing.

- Promote travel offers and available travel services.

- Stay informed about destinations, travel products, and industry updates.

- Maintain accurate client and booking information.

- Provide professional and reliable customer service.

Requirements

- Strong communication and customer-service skills.

- Good organizational and time-management skills.

- Comfortable using email, social media, and online booking platforms.

- Self-motivated and able to work independently.

- Willingness to learn and participate in training.

- Sales, customer service, hospitality, or travel experience is an advantage but not required.

- Must have access to a smartphone, computer, and reliable internet.
