Equipment Maintenance Technician
Clean Air Engineering (CleanAir) is a leading global environmental engineering and consulting company,
in business since 1972. CleanAir’s Source Emissions Testing team, located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,
has an immediate opening for a full-time Equipment Maintenance Technician to support the growth of
its source testing division.
CleanAir is looking for a motivated individual to maintain and quality-assure the air-emissions test-
equipment inventory at our Pittsburgh office. This includes maintenance and testing of electronic,
electrical, and pneumatic equipment. This position requires someone who is generally handy,
has a working knowledge of electronics and mechanical systems, and can work well with
others. An aptitude for troubleshooting is a plus. The successful applicant will work closely with
project managers to provide working, calibrated resources specific to individual project tasks.

The position will involve the following key responsibilities:
- Maintain the overall readiness of test equipment, vehicles, trailers, and laboratory
instrumentation. - Execute test equipment calibrations per CleanAir Standard Operating Procedures
- Be proactive in supporting each test project from initial departure to demobilization
- Place and track orders and equipment inventory in CleanAir’s systems
- Know the ins and outs of the CleanAir warehouse and equipment inventory and specifications
Qualifications/Expectations:
- A mechanical, detail-oriented skill and mindset set is required to maintain, fix, and improve
upon all test equipment - Experience with basic hand tools and small power tools (i.e. drill, impact driver)
- A can-do attitude and attention to detail
- A good working knowledge of Word and Excel
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience with vehicle maintenance and electrical components is a plus
