Job Responsibilities

• Cut, shape, assemble, and finish wood and wood-based materials according to specifications.
  
• Operate woodworking equipment such as table saws, panel saws, drills, sanders, routers, and other hand/power tools.
  
• Read and follow drawings, measurements, and work orders.
  
• Measure and cut materials accurately using measuring tools.
  
• Assemble wooden components using screws, nails, glue, and other fasteners.
  
• Perform sanding, grinding, trimming, and finishing of completed products.
  
• Inspect finished products for quality, dimensions, and workmanship.
  
• Assist with material handling, loading, and general production duties when required.
  
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  

Requirements

• Previous experience in woodworking, cabinetry, furniture, millwork, or wood manufacturing preferred.
  
• Comfortable operating woodworking machinery and power tools.
  
• Ability to accurately use a measuring tape and basic measuring tools.
  
• Physically fit and able to lift and move materials.
  
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
  
• CSA-approved safety boots required.
