Southeast Texas HR is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our team at a Manufacturing Facility in Beaumont, TX. This will be 5 to 7 days per week, 12 hour days, and pay will be $20 per hour. This is a temp-to-hire position. Bilingual is a plus. Responsible for repetitive and routine inspection to ensure parts, units, equipment, or material follow quality standards.

- Performs inspections on designated incoming stock items; completes and files related forms.
- Rejects non-conforming materials according to written procedures.
- Verifies dimensional correctness and quality of workmanship of product.
- Checks electrical phasing on all factory assembled systems.
- Signs electrical test reports on finished product indicating test was performed as required.
- Performs installation, maintenance, and repair duties as necessary.
- Obtains/maintains necessary documentation (quality documents, product design drawings, etc.).
- Stages equipment, tools, and parts, and directs subcontractors as necessary.
- Submits all necessary reports, records, and paperwork in a timely manner.
Requirements
To be considered for this position you must meet the following requirements:- Ability to stand for 12 hours per shift.
- Ability to operate a Forklift and Manlift.
- Ability to operate computer and good writing skills.
- Ability to read a tape measure, caliper, and micrometer.
- Has good mathematical skills.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds.
- 2 or more years of experience in Quality Control and/or Inspections.
- Ability to pass pre-employment requirements including a drug test.
- MUST have lace-up steel toed boots, all other PPE will be provided.
- High school diploma or GED.
