Analytics Lead - Operations & Business Insights

In this role, you'll partner directly with managers, directors, and VPs across Electric Operations, Gas Compliance, and Field Service organizations to define meaningful KPIs, shape analytics roadmaps, and drive data-informed decision making.

You'll serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and analytics delivery teams, translating operational goals into reporting priorities, performance metrics, and measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnership & Strategy

• Partner with operational leaders to identify opportunities for performance improvement and data-driven decision making
  
• Facilitate KPI definition and performance measurement strategies across business units
  
• Lead workshops and requirements sessions with managers, directors, and executive stakeholders
  
• Develop analytics roadmaps and reporting priorities aligned to organizational objectives
  
• Support value realization efforts through operational performance measurement and reporting
  

Analytics Planning & Requirements

• Document reporting requirements, business processes, data requirements, and success metrics
  
• Translate business objectives into analytics initiatives and actionable work plans
  
• Prioritize analytics requests and roadmap initiatives based on business value
  
• Collaborate with analytics delivery teams to ensure solutions address business needs
  
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reporting processes
  

Stakeholder Management

• Serve as a trusted advisor to operational and executive leaders
  
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams
  
• Build consensus across multiple organizations with competing priorities
  
• Support change management and adoption of analytics-driven business processes
  

Data Governance & Continuous Improvement

• Support enterprise data governance and data quality initiatives
  
• Partner with stakeholders to improve data definitions, reporting consistency, and KPI alignment
  
• Identify process improvement opportunities related to analytics and reporting
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
  
• 8+ years of experience in business analysis, analytics, operations consulting, project management, or related fields
  
• Experience partnering directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define reporting needs
  
• Experience defining KPIs, metrics, scorecards, dashboards, or operational performance frameworks
  
• Strong communication and presentation skills with experience engaging directors and executive leadership
  
• Experience developing business cases, roadmaps, or strategic initiatives
  
• Ability to drive consensus among cross-functional stakeholders
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Utility industry experience
  
• Experience supporting Field Operations, Asset Management, Workforce Planning, Compliance, Risk Management, or Service Delivery functions
  
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms
  
• Familiarity with SAP, Maximo, or other enterprise operational systems
  
• Experience with data governance, data quality, or master data initiatives
  
• Agile or project management experience
