Safar Staffing is seeking an experienced Legacy Systems Programmer specializing in IBM iSeries/AS400 environments.

We are particularly interested in senior professionals with extensive experience maintaining, enhancing, troubleshooting, and modernizing business-critical IBM i applications.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain complex legacy IBM iSeries applications
Develop and enhance RPG/RPGLE programs
Maintain CL/CLLE scripts and processes
Work with DB2 for i and SQL
Analyze existing legacy code
Troubleshoot complex production issues
Support batch jobs, job queues, interfaces, and scheduled processing
Develop integrations between legacy and modern systems
Participate in legacy-system modernization initiatives
Document applications, business logic, and technical processes
