SAMGI is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join a collaborative trauma program in Scottsdale, Arizona — 24-hour block scheduling, a structured coverage model, and a surgical team built for consistency and sustainability.

THE POSITION

Full-time Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon
183 shifts annually · 24-hour shifts
7-day block scheduling with built-in recovery time between rotations
High-acuity trauma program · collaborative orthopedic trauma team
SAMGI operational support — billing, credentialing, and admin handled

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Operative and non-operative management of orthopedic trauma patients
Complex fracture care, including pelvic and acetabular injuries
Trauma call coverage at a high-acuity trauma center
Perioperative management and post-operative follow-up clinic
Collaborate with trauma surgery, ICU, emergency medicine, and nursing teams

QUALIFICATIONS

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma required
Experience with pelvic and acetabular fracture management preferred
Eligible for Arizona medical licensure
Ability to obtain and maintain hospital privileges
