Are you an experienced finance professional looking to take the next step in your hospitality career?

My client is looking for a detail-oriented and highly organised Assistant Finance Manager to join a luxury safari lodge in KZN.

THE ROLE

You will support the Finance Manager with the day-to-day financial operations of the lodge, ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial controls and effective cost management.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

A proactive finance professional who can work confidently with HODs, F&B, Kitchen, Housekeeping, Procurement and Operations, while maintaining strict financial controls and deadlines.

Requirements

WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Matric / Grade 12
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
3–5 years' relevant finance/accounting experience
Experience with creditors, debtors and reconciliations
Strong month-end and financial reporting experience
Excellent Excel and computer skills
Experience with stock and cost control
Strong attention to detail and numerical ability
High level of integrity and confidentiality
Hospitality/lodge experience is highly advantageous
Experience with PMS/POS or hospitality accounting systems advantageous
