Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid)

The Role

As Strategic Operations Analyst, you'll work cross-functionally with leaders across Commercial, Product, Finance, Customer Success, and Operations to deliver strategic projects that support the company's continued growth.

You'll analyse business performance, develop strategic recommendations, optimise operational processes, and help deliver initiatives that improve efficiency and accelerate growth.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, business operations, or transformation who enjoys solving complex business challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of strategic business initiatives
  • Analyse commercial and operational performance, identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency
  • Build business cases, financial models, and executive presentations to support key decision-making
  • Develop KPIs, dashboards, and performance reporting for senior leadership
  • Lead cross-functional improvement projects focused on operational excellence and scalability
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and commercial assessments
  • Monitor strategic initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered successfully and on time
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend practical, scalable solutions
  • Support annual strategic planning, budgeting, and OKR processes
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders and executive leadership


Requirements

About You

Our client is looking for a highly analytical, commercially minded professional who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

You'll likely come from a background in:

  • Strategy Consulting
  • Corporate Strategy
  • Business Operations
  • Commercial Strategy
  • Business Transformation
  • Chief of Staff Office
  • Investment or Corporate Finance

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in strategy, consulting, business operations, or a similar analytical role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience using data to drive business decisions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline

Desirable Experience

  • Experience working within a technology business or high-growth scale-up
  • Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools
  • Financial modelling experience
  • Exposure to process optimisation or operational excellence initiatives
  • Experience working with CRM or business intelligence platforms
  • Confident presenting insights to senior leadership teams
