We are hiring Clinical Nurse Manager 3 - Nursing Office, Posts for a hospital located in Tralee, Ireland.

 Part-time, 12-month fixed-term position with a rotation between day and night shifts.

  Responsibilities

• Provide senior nursing leadership and professional support across the hospital, ensuring safe and effective delivery of patient care.
  

• Coordinate and manage nursing services across clinical departments in collaboration with Clinical Nurse Managers and senior nursing management.
  

• Support the effective allocation and deployment of nursing staff based on patient acuity, staffing requirements and service needs.
  

• Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring compliance with NMBI standards, hospital policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
  

• Monitor staffing levels, rosters, skill mix and workforce requirements to maintain safe staffing across the hospital.
  

• Act as a senior point of contact for nursing staff, patients, multidisciplinary teams and hospital management.
  

• Support the management of clinical incidents, complaints, risk assessments and patient safety issues, ensuring appropriate escalation and follow-up.
  

• Promote clinical governance, quality improvement, audit and evidence-based nursing practice throughout the organisation.
  

• Monitor and support compliance with HIQA standards, infection prevention and control requirements, medication management policies and other applicable healthcare regulations.
  
  

Requirements

• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
  

• Strong leadership and communication skills
  

• Essential experience in acute care management
  

• BSc in Nursing or equivalent degree essential
  

• Management qualification desirable
  

• Proven experience in change management, resource management, conflict resolution, quality and safety management, problem-solving and operational planning
  

• Strong computer and IT skills essential
