Social Media & E-Commerce Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, organised, and proactive Social Media & E-Commerce Specialist to manage our social media presence, email marketing, website content, and online customer engagement.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating engaging content, building online communities, and turning ideas into well-executed marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow multiple Instagram accounts, including maintaining and refreshing podcast-related social media pages.
  
• Plan, create, write, schedule, and publish engaging social media content aligned with the brand’s voice and audience.
  
• Actively engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and relevant conversations.
  
• Build meaningful audience interactions and identify opportunities to increase engagement and brand awareness.
  
• Respond to customer comments and messages within two business hours, maintaining a professional and helpful tone.
  
• Create and manage email marketing campaigns using Klaviyo, including copywriting, campaign setup, scheduling, and performance reporting.
  
• Add and update products on the website, ensuring product information, descriptions, and page content are clear, accurate, and compelling.
  
• Edit and prepare product, promotional, and marketing images as needed.
  
• Keep website and social media content accurate, consistent, and up to date.
  
• Monitor social media and marketing activity and identify opportunities for new content, campaigns, and audience growth.
  
• Bring fresh ideas and proactively recommend ways to improve content, engagement, and overall online presence.
  

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing social media accounts and increasing audience engagement.
  
• Strong copywriting skills with the ability to create compelling content for social media, email campaigns, and websites.
  
• Hands-on experience with Klaviyo and email marketing campaigns.
  
• Experience managing an active online community and responding professionally to customer questions and messages.
  
• Experience adding products and updating content on a website.
  
• Shopify experience is preferred.
  
• Basic to intermediate photo/image editing skills are highly regarded.
  
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills.
  
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  
• Someone who can work independently, take initiative, and identify opportunities without always being asked.
  
• A creative mindset with a strong understanding of social media trends, audience engagement, and digital content.
