• Foreign Body Removal, Minor Burn Management
  
• Skin Lesion Care, Orthopedic & Injury Stabilization
  
• Splinting & Casting, Joint Reduction
  
• Diagnostic & Point-of-Care Testing: X-Ray Interpretation, EKG Evaluation, Lab Interpretation
  
• Epistaxis Management: Anterior nasal packing or chemical cautery
  
• Cerumen impaction removal
  
• Airway Support: Nebulizer treatments and initial emergency stabilization

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: Board Certified
  
• Licenses: Active Virginia License
  
• DEA: Active DEA Certification
  
• Certifications: BLS
  
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in ED/ER, primary care, or urgent care setting
  
• Clean record
  
• Local candidate
  

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive urgent care to patients of all ages
  
• Perform laceration repair, incision and drainage, and foreign body removal
  
• Manage minor burns, skin lesions, and orthopedic injuries (splinting, casting, joint reduction)
  
• Interpret diagnostic tests including X-rays, EKGs, and point-of-care labs
  
• Provide epistaxis management, cerumen removal, and airway support
