Team Supervisor

TKO has partnered with one of our valuable clients and we are looking for an experienced Group Leader.  This person will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the warehouse and drivers for their shift. However, day-to-day communication and cooperation among Group Leaders is essential.  Individual Group Leaders report directly to the Manager.

Primary Duties:

• Ensure all Team Members conduct operations in a safe and efficient manner.  Ensure all Team Members areas meet safety requirements.
  
• Ensuring the implementation of effective safety and environmental systems for the safety of all team members and transportation personnel, equipment and property; ensuring that all areas of the facility and work areas are maintained in a clean and orderly fashion.
  
• Supports in establishing and maintaining work instructions, process procedures and standards for material flow and Supports and controls inventory, storage layout and design and coordinate audits for TM's safety and process Performance, and supervise the training of new TM's.
  
• This person will also lead and participate in Ongoing optimization, meaning fostering a bottom-up culture of continuous improvement.
  
• This leader will also coordinate and provide leadership for preventative actions to reduce and /or eliminate waste and quality problems for stored products.
  

Requirements

Must have Direct Supervision of Employee experience.
Must be able to recommend the following: hiring, disciplinary action, staffing assignments, and scheduling.
Associates degree or greater preferred or equal experience required.(at least 5 years)
