Job Description: React Native Developer

Hybrid: 2 days a week in office

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced React Native Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, mobile application architecture, and integration with backend APIs.

Key Responsibilities

•             Design, develop, test, and deploy mobile applications using React Native.

•             Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable UI components.

•             Integrate mobile applications with backend services and REST APIs.

•             Collaborate with backend developers, UX/UI designers, architects, and business stakeholders.

•             Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and user experience.

•             Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.

•             Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and production issues.

•             Participate in code reviews and follow coding best practices.

•             Publish and maintain applications on Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

•             Ensure applications comply with security, accessibility, and quality standards.

Required Skills

•             5+ years of mobile application development experience.

•             Strong hands-on experience with React Native.

•             Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.

•             Experience with React Hooks, Redux, Context API, and state management.

•             Strong knowledge of mobile UI/UX design principles.

•             Experience integrating RESTful APIs and JSON-based services.

•             Familiarity with iOS and Android mobile application lifecycle.

•             Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.

•             Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

Preferred Skills

•             Experience with Native Android (Java/Kotlin) and iOS (Swift).

•             Knowledge of Firebase, Push Notifications, and Analytics.

•             Experience with Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms.

•             Familiarity with mobile security best practices.

•             Experience working with enterprise mobile applications.

Qualifications

•             Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

•             Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

•             Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

Nice to Have

•             Utilities industry experience.

•             Experience integrating mobile apps with SAP, Oracle, or other enterprise systems.

•             Experience with offline data synchronization and mobile performance tuning.

•             Knowledge of App Center, CodePush, and automated mobile testing frameworks.
