This onsite contract role supports healthcare professionals and helps provide services to Veterans at a Veterans Affairs
healthcare facility in Dayton. This is not a VA federal employee position and does not include VA employees
benefits.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work Schedule:
Work hours are scheduled between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM, with two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch.
Schedule changes require 24 hours' notice. Must be present at the facility to perform services.
Contract Dates:
October 19, 2026 – October 18, 2027

- Coordinate and support clinic scheduling activities.

Track referrals and maintain accurate referral information. -
Assist with clinic workflow management and administrative processes. -
Communicate professionally with patients and Veterans. -
Verify eligibility and related administrative information. -
Maintain accurate records and follow facility procedures. -
Protect confidential information and handle administrative details responsibly. -
Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative personnel.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.

At least one year of Medical Support Assistant experience. -
Ability to work onsite in Dayton, Ohio. -
Professional communication and customer-service skills. -
Strong organization and attention to detail. -
Ability to work the assigned schedule and provide timely notice for schedule changes.
