• Location: Hazira, Surat
  

• Shift Timing & Calendar: Customer's office timing, following the customer's holiday calendar. Usually 5 days a week working (Monday to Friday) PLUS the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturday as regular working days per customer requirements.
  

• Total Experience Required: 9+ years
  

• Relevant Experience Required: 7 to 11 years in SAP Materials Management (SAP MM)
  

• Budget: 1.5 LPM
  

Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Specialist with 7 to 11 years of experience in Materials Management and deep expertise in SAP MM to lead and optimize procurement and inventory management processes. The ideal candidate will design, configure, and support SAP MM solutions tailored to meet evolving business requirements, with exposure and knowledge in WM and associated processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize extensive knowledge of Materials Management to optimize procurement, inventory control, and vendor management processes.
  

• Design, configure, and support SAP MM solutions tailored to meet evolving business requirements.
  

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP MM with other SAP modules and business processes.
  

• Apply SAP Process Modelling Suite tools such as Signavio, ARIS, and Visio to document, analyze, and improve Materials Management processes.
  

• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards within Materials Management operations.
  

• Stay updated with the latest SAP MM functionalities, industry trends, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
  

• Support data migration and system upgrade activities related to SAP MM modules.
  

• Leverage emerging technologies including AI and SAP Business AI to innovate Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes within Materials Management.
  

Requirements

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP MM solutions to meet business needs.
  

• Participate actively in requirements gathering, blueprinting, and documentation phases for SAP MM projects.
  

• Develop detailed functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams for development, testing, and deployment.
  

• Conduct training sessions and provide knowledge transfer to junior team members and stakeholders.
  

• Manage integration points between SAP MM and other SAP modules to ensure data consistency and process alignment.
  

• Oversee testing of new functionalities, enhancements, and issue resolutions related to SAP MM.
  

• Utilize SAP Process Modelling Suite tools (Signavio, ARIS, Visio) to model and optimize Materials Management business processes.
  

• Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of SAP MM consultants and specialists.
  

• Support rollout and post-implementation activities to ensure smooth adoption and sustained performance of SAP MM solutions.
  

• Act as a key liaison for clarifications, collaborating closely with business stakeholders and external partners.
  

Job Expectation & Transition

• Immediately after project onboarding, the resource needs to travel to Hazira, Surat from their respective base location for a 4-week duration for knowledge transition, hypercare, and gathering requirements for new features.
  

• Post this period, the resource will be permanently based onsite at Hazira, Surat, following the client's holiday calendar, shift timings, and working on alternate Saturdays.
  

Requirements

• 9+ years of overall IT experience, with 7 to 11 years of dedicated experience in SAP Materials Management (SAP MM).
  

• Strong hands-on background in optimizing procurement, inventory control, and vendor management processes.
  

• Exposure and knowledge in Warehouse Management (WM) and associated SAP modules.
  

• Proficiency in using SAP Process Modelling Suite tools (Signavio, ARIS, Visio).
  

• Full readiness to be stationed onsite at Hazira, Surat, and follow client working schedules, including alternate Saturdays.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior enterprise experience supporting large-scale manufacturing, logistics, or engineering client transformations.
  

• Experience integrating SAP MM with emerging technologies, AI tools, or Source-to-Pay (S2P) automation frameworks.
