Role Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Engineering Lead who combines deep, hands-on software development expertise with modern technical leadership. With 7+ years of building enterprise solutions, this role requires a technical leader who actively writes code, architects resilient microservices, and leads the evolution of our digital channels (including Angular web platforms, mobile backends, and API layers).
The ideal candidate stays ahead of industry shifts—embracing AI-assisted software development, modern API orchestration, full-stack observability, and scalable cloud architectures.

Core Technology Stack

• Frontend & Web Channels: Angular (v12+, RxJS/Signals, NgRx), TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5/SCSS.
  
• Backend & API Layer: Node.js/TypeScript (NestJS or Express), Java (Spring Boot) and C# (.NET Core/.NET 8+).
  
• API Integration: Experience API’s, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, API Gateways, gRPC.
  
• AI & Integration Layer: Python (FastAPI, LLM API integration, LangChain/LlamaIndex) for connecting digital apps to AI services.
  
• Cloud & DevOps: AWS, Azure, or GCP; Docker, Kubernetes; CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab).
  
• Quality & Observability: Playwright, OpenTelemetry, Dynatrace, Kibanna
  

Key Responsibilities

• Hands-on Development & Architecture (50% Coding/Design, 50% Leadership): Spend significant time writing modern TypeScript/Angular code and backend services, conducting peer reviews, and setting platform design standards.
  
• Digital Channel Evolution: Lead the modernization of client-facing Angular applications and backend touchpoints, ensuring high performance, responsive design, and smooth user experiences.
  
• System Deconstruction & Architecture: Decompose complex legacy components into scalable microservices using API-first, event-driven architecture patterns (e.g., Sagas, Circuit Breakers).
  
• AI Tooling & Integration: Integrate AI-assisted workflows (e.g., GitHub Copilot, automated code review, synthetic data generation) into the software development lifecycle to boost squad velocity and build AI-ready platform pipelines.
  
• Observability & Quality: Champion continuous automated testing (e.g., Playwright) and full-stack distributed tracing to maintain high availability and performance across all channels.
  
• Team Governance & Mentorship: Drive engineering excellence, clear technical documentation, and hands-on guidance for intermediate and senior developers.
  

Requirements

Experience and Qualifications 

• Experience Level: 7+ years of total software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years operating as a Tech Lead or Engineering Lead.
  
• Angular & TypeScript Mastery: Deep expertise modernizing and scaling enterprise Angular web platforms (including state management with RxJS/NgRx).
  
• Full-Stack / API Integration Experience: Proven track record building secure, high-traffic RESTful APIs or GraphQL layers connecting frontend applications to enterprise backends using Node.js, Java (Spring Boot), and C# (.NET).
  
• Hands-on Engineering Focus: Active coder who leads by example, participates in complex codebases, and writes robust automated unit and end-to-end tests.
  
• AI Integration Mindset: Hands-on experience using AI development tools in daily workflows, along with an understanding of integrating LLM APIs/AI services into digital applications.
  
• Cloud & Containerization: Solid experience with cloud-native infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD automation.
