The team
- 50+ dedicated fee earners, including specialist partners and legal directors
- Acts for 100+ registered providers and 30 local authorities
- Nationally recognised, with a market-leading presence across the Eastern Region, London and the South East
- Sensitive, high-risk work, from disrepair and building safety to ASB and fire safety, alongside large-scale development and regeneration

The role
- Defend disrepair claims
- Run possession and injunction proceedings for tenancy breach
- Handle service charge disputes in the First-Tier Tribunal
- Own your caseload and client relationships
- Support complex, strategic sector projects
- Get involved in business development
- Mentor junior colleagues
- Help shape the growth of the Bristol practice
Scope grows with seniority.
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor with social housing or related experience
- Strong technical and commercial skills
- Clear communication and good client instincts
- Solid organisation and matter management
- A real interest in where the housing sector is heading
Senior candidates: experience of building client relationships, supervising juniors and contributing to BD will help.
