RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in healthcare recruitment for both domestic and overseas candidates, providing staffing solutions to hospitals, nursing homes, home care, and community care facilities across Ireland and abroad.
We are currently hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager for a reputed nursing home in Dublin, Ireland.
This is a 36-hour per week contract with day shifts only. The role involves a combination of on-floor clinical duties and supernumerary responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care to all residents
- Supervise and support the healthcare team, including Staff Nurses and Healthcare Assistants
- Oversee care planning, assessments, implementation, and evaluation in line with best practice
- Ensure compliance with HIQA standards, NMBI guidelines, and relevant legislation
- Manage staff rostering, delegation of duties, and day-to-day clinical operations
- Promote a positive, collaborative multidisciplinary team (MDT) environment
- Monitor and improve clinical quality through audits, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure high standards in infection control, medication management, and documentation
- Act as a key point of contact for residents, families, and external healthcare professionals (GPs, hospitals, allied health)
- Support staff training, mentorship, and ongoing professional development
- Maintain a safe environment in line with health & safety and risk management policies
- Participate in quality assurance, accreditation processes, and service development
Requirements

Registered Nurse with a valid NMBI PIN

Strong leadership and management skills

Proven clinical experience in nursing home or elderly care settings

Experience in care planning, resident assessments and clinical audits

Strong IT skills, including documentation, audits and care management systems

Sound knowledge of HIQA standards and regulatory compliance

Ability to manage staff, rosters and day-to-day operations

Excellent communication, interpersonal and multidisciplinary teamwork skills
