We operate on behalf of insurers, loss adjusters, policyholders, and an expanding portfolio of private clients. We pride ourselves on driving innovation, maintaining the highest professional standards, and delivering exceptional service across all technical instructions.

Position Overview

Recognised for your technical expertise and strong communication abilities, you will manage a diverse caseload of Surveying Services instructions. This includes conducting detailed defect diagnosis surveys, preparing costed schedules of works, and overseeing the management of repair projects.

While experience in insurance claims is valuable, our private client portfolio continues to grow, making non-insurance surveying experience highly relevant and welcomed.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a commitment to innovation and a determination to provide a market-leading service and work product.

  • Team & Knowledge Sharing: Participate positively and constructively as a team member, sharing technical knowledge, offering feedback, and contributing to process improvements.

  • Ethics & Compliance: Promote and uphold Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles and RICS ethical standards at all times.

  • Service Standards: Ensure strict adherence to contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Surveying Expertise: Excellent knowledge of surveying-related principles. Experience within insurance claims is desirable, but not essential.

  • Professional Qualifications: Ideally RICS (MRICS/FRICS) or MCIOB qualified, or actively working towards a professional qualification.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Excellent working knowledge of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM).

  • Contract Management: Hands-on experience with JCT contracts, variations, payment certifications, and dispute resolution mechanisms.

  • Communication & Negotiation: Outstanding oral and written communication skills with strong negotiation, investigation, and report-writing capabilities.

  • Technical & IT Literacy: High degree of IT competency and literacy with surveying software and case management systems.

  • Professional Integrity: Personal and professional integrity, leading by example and upholding strict professional ethics.

  • Autonomy & Resilience: Ability to work accurately under pressure, adhere to tight deadlines, work collaboratively within a team, and operate independently under your own initiative.

  • Flexibility: A adaptable and flexible approach to managing shifting caseload priorities.

What We Offer

  • Competitive Salary: Market-leading compensation package.

  • Performance Bonus: Annual performance-related bonus scheme.

  • Retirement Planning: Enhanced contributory pension scheme.
