Senior Full Stack Developer

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Application Developer to design and build modern, production-ready applications and user experiences. This role requires strong hands-on experience developing Single Page Applications (SPAs), building backend services and APIs, and working with relational databases. The ideal candidate combines strong application engineering fundamentals with a bias toward action, excellent communication skills, and technical leadership. Experience with Databricks Apps and the broader Databricks platform is highly desirable but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy modern Single Page Applications (SPAs) using frameworks such as React, Angular, or similar technologies.
  
• Build intuitive, responsive, and maintainable front-end experiences using modern JavaScript/TypeScript development practices.
  
• Develop scalable backend services and REST APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, Node.js, or similar technologies.
  
• Design and integrate applications with relational databases, with a strong emphasis on PostgreSQL.
  
• Build end-to-end application functionality spanning front-end, backend, APIs, authentication, and data layers.
  
• Collaborate with data engineers, platform engineers, architects, product stakeholders, and customers to translate business requirements into working applications.
  
• Develop applications and user experiences that integrate with data and analytics platforms.
  
• Drive technical decisions and proactively identify and resolve engineering challenges.
  
• Produce clean, maintainable, well-tested code and contribute to application development standards and best practices.
  
• Communicate technical decisions, tradeoffs, risks, and progress clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  
• Take ownership of deliverables and drive projects from requirements through production deployment.
  

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Strong professional experience in full-stack application development.
  
• Demonstrated experience designing and building production Single Page Applications (SPAs).
  
• Strong hands-on experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or equivalent.
  
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript development experience.
  
• Experience building backend applications, services, and APIs using technologies such as FastAPI, Flask, Node.js, or equivalent frameworks.
  
• Strong experience working with relational databases, including database design, queries, application integration, and performance considerations.
  
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or comparable relational database technologies.
  
• Experience integrating front-end applications with backend APIs and data services.
  
• Understanding of modern application architecture, authentication, security, testing, and deployment practices.
  
• Ability to independently take a feature or application from concept through implementation and delivery.
  

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Experience developing and deploying Databricks Apps.
  
• General hands-on experience with the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
  
• Experience integrating custom applications with Databricks data, APIs, SQL warehouses, or other platform capabilities.
  
• Familiarity with Databricks technologies such as Unity Catalog, Databricks SQL, Delta Lake, and Lakehouse architectures.
  
• Experience building data-intensive or analytics-focused web applications.
  
• Cloud application development experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  
• Experience with CI/CD, containers, and modern application deployment practices.
