Junior IPRAN & Data Communication Technical Support Engineer (12Mths Contract)

About the Client

A telecom equipment and solutions provider specializing in optical network infrastructure, broadband access, and turnkey telecom projects for operators and enterprise customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IPRAN & Data Communication equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve technical and engineering issues during project implementation and network operation.
• Provide technical training and guidance on IPRAN & Data Communication products and solutions.
• Coordinate with customers and subcontractors to ensure project quality, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure the stability, reliability, and continuous operation of IPRAN & Data Communication networks.

Key requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Telecommunications, IT, Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in IPRAN, IP/MPLS, routing and switching is an advantage. Fresh graduates and candidates willing to learn are welcome to apply.
• Basic knowledge of IP networking, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLAN and VPN is preferred.
• Willing to learn network troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, configuration, monitoring and fault resolution.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with customers, NOC teams, field engineers and project teams.
• TM/YTL project or network experience is an advantage.
• Good English communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently and in a team.
