A leading home health organization in Portland, Oregon is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join its growing rehabilitation team!
Pay: $41.00 - $45.00/hour
Physical Therapist Assistant Opportunity:
- Full-time, permanent, direct-hire position
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM schedule
- Guaranteed weekly pay
- Mileage reimbursement provided
- Relocation assistance available

Physical Therapist Assistant Responsibilities:
- Provide direct physical therapy services under the direction of a Physical Therapist and according to the physician's plan of care
- Treat patients to relieve pain, restore function, and maintain maximum performance
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, muscle re-education, and functional activities
- Utilize therapeutic modalities including heat, cold, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and massage as appropriate
- Observe and report patient responses to treatment and any changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients on the proper use of assistive devices, wheelchairs, braces, canes, crutches, and orthotic equipment
Physical Therapist Assistant Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program with an Associate's Degree required
- Current Oregon Physical Therapist Assistant license required
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle required
