Water/Wastewater Engineer

Regional consulting firm looking to add a talented Water/Wastewater Engineer to their Chicago, Illinois area office!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare engineering documents (plans, specifications, models, cost estimates, project schedules)
  
• Provide project management on water/wastewater systems and related components
  
• Work on design project (water/sanitary mains, pumping stations, storage tanks/reservoirs, water/wastewater treatment plants, and well water systems)
  
• Prepare engineering reports, drawings, and specifications
  
• Prepare estimates, schedules, and change order for public improvements
  
• Construction administration duties and periodic inspection during construction of water/wastewater facilities
  
• Attend municipal board meetings
  

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
  
• EIT or PE license preferred
  
• 5+ years of experience
  
• Municipal water and/or wastewater systems design experience (modeling creation, calibration, and evaluation)
  
• Knowledge of IEPA, IDEM, and Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Chicago permitting processes preferred
  
• Microsoft Office experience (Word/Excel)
  

Salary is commensurate with experience.
