Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a passionate, professional and guest-focused Spa Therapist / Front of House professional to join a luxury tented safari camp situated in Hazyview, Mpumalanga.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional who enjoys working directly with guests and has a passion for both wellness and delivering exceptional service within a luxury safari environment.

The position

• Role: Spa Therapist / Front of House

• Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience
  
• The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering professional spa and wellness treatments whilst also assisting with front-of-house and guest-facing duties.
  
• The role will require a warm, welcoming and highly professional approach when interacting with guests.
  
• The Spa Therapist will provide a range of treatments to a consistently high standard, ensuring each guest receives a relaxing and personalized experience.
  
• The successful candidate will maintain a clean, calm and inviting spa environment.
  
• The role will involve assisting with guest check-ins, enquiries and general front-of-house responsibilities as required.
  
• The successful candidate will assist with coordinating guest requests and ensuring a seamless overall guest experience.
  
• The position will require strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with guests.
  
• The successful candidate will maintain professional standards of presentation and service throughout all guest interactions.
  
• The role will require flexibility to assist across different areas of the camp when required.
  
• The successful candidate will work closely with the wider lodge team to ensure smooth daily operations.
  
• The position requires someone who is adaptable, energetic and comfortable working in a remote safari environment.
  

Candidate requirements

• Relevant qualifications in Beauty Therapy, Somatology, Spa Therapy, Wellness Therapy or a related field.
  
• Previous experience as a Spa or Wellness Therapist.
  
• Previous front-of-house, guest relations or luxury hospitality experience would be highly advantageous.
  
• Strong knowledge of spa and wellness treatments.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• A warm, friendly and naturally engaging personality.
  
• Professional presentation and excellent personal grooming.
  
• A genuine passion for wellness and luxury hospitality.
  
• Strong attention to detail and consistently high service standards.
  
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy guest environment.
  
• Flexibility to assist with various operational duties when required.
  
• Previous experience within a luxury lodge, safari camp or remote hospitality environment would be advantageous.
  
• A genuine passion for the African bush and creating memorable guest experiences would be highly beneficial.
