Civil - Hydraulic & Plumbing Technician

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Civil - Hydraulic & Plumbing Technician to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing hydraulic, water distribution, drainage, and civil plumbing systems across residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate possesses deep technical knowledge of plumbing codes, fluid power dynamics, and civil maintenance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• System Installation & Fitting: Install, assemble, and repair civil water supply, drainage, sanitary fixtures, high-pressure piping, pumps, valves, and hydraulic equipment.
  

• Hydraulic Maintenance: Inspect and service hydraulic machinery, pressure vessels, pumps, motors, seals, and fluid control systems to maintain optimal operating efficiency.
  

• Diagnostic & Troubleshooting: Trace leaks, blockages, pressure drops, and electrical/mechanical failures within hydraulic and plumbing networks using diagnostic tools.
  

• Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance schedules and execute emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
  

• Civil Project Execution: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, hydraulic schematics, and civil engineering specifications.
  

• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all works strictly comply with local safety standards, building codes, and environmental safety regulations (OSHA / KSA Civil Defense guidelines).
  

• Quality Assurance: Test pipework and hydraulic circuits using hydrostatic pressure tests and ensure proper sealing and connections.
  

Requirements (Skills & Qualifications)

• Education: ITI / Technical Diploma / Vocational Certification in Plumbing, Mechanical, or Hydraulic Technology (or equivalent Civil Trade qualification).
  

• Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience as a Hydraulic & Plumbing Technician, ideally in civil construction, infrastructure, or large-scale facility maintenance.
  

• Technical Skills:
  

  • Proficiency in reading technical blueprints, hydraulic schematics, and plumbing isometric drawings.
    

  • Experience with high-pressure hydraulic pumps, control valves, actuators, and piping systems (PPR, PVC, HDPE, Copper, Galvanized Iron).
    

  • Hands-on expertise in pipe threading, soldering, welding, and pressure testing.
    

• Competencies: Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team under tight timelines.
  

• Language & Communication: Basic-to-intermediate English proficiency; Arabic is an added advantage.
  

• Physical Capability: Ability to perform physical labor, work in outdoor/construction site conditions, and operate power tools safely.
