M365 Migration Engineer

Summary
We are seeking an experienced M365 Migration Engineer to lead critical infrastructure transitions within our IT Services division. This pivotal role focuses on executing complex tenant-to-tenant migrations and ensuring the seamless movement of mailboxes and data to the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. The successful candidate will be instrumental in orchestrating migration cutover strategies and performing rigorous post-migration validation to guarantee business continuity and data integrity. By leveraging advanced tools and scripting capabilities, this position ensures robust identity management, secure authentication, and optimal mail flow across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage full-scale migration cutover activities, followed by comprehensive post-migration validation procedures.
  
• Configure and maintain Exchange Online mail flow, ensuring transport rules function correctly for all users.
  
• Manage Microsoft 365 identity structures, permissions, and access controls to maintain security standards.
  
• Diagnose and resolve complex connectivity and authentication issues across the M365 environment.
  
• Utilize Microsoft Graph APIs to automate tasks and monitor migration progress.
  
• Operate Quest Migration Tools to facilitate efficient data transfer and object synchronization.
  
• Develop and troubleshoot PowerShell scripts to automate migration workflows and resolve technical blockers.
  
• Oversee the end-to-end process of tenant-to-tenant migrations, including mailbox and data movement.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Possess 5–8 years of hands-on work experience specifically within the IT Services sector.
  
• Demonstrate proven expertise in Microsoft 365 (M365) migration methodologies.
  
• Show deep proficiency in Exchange Online administration, including mailbox and data migration techniques.
  
• Be skilled in utilizing Quest Migration Tools for enterprise-level data transfers.
  
• Exhibit strong command of PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting purposes.
  
• Have a solid background in managing Microsoft 365 identity, permissions, and authentication protocols.
  
• Display the ability to troubleshoot mail flow and transport rule configurations effectively.
  
• Understand the intricacies of Microsoft Graph and its application in migration scenarios.
