SAP MM Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP MM Consultant with 4–8 years of relevant experience to join our team in Bangalore. The candidate will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and optimizing SAP Materials Management processes while working closely with business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP MM modules based on business requirements.
  
• Handle procurement, purchasing, inventory management, and material master processes.
  
• Work on PR, PO, RFQ, goods receipt, invoice verification, and release strategies.
  
• Configure and support MM organizational structures, including company codes, plants, storage locations, and purchasing organizations.
  
• Work on integration with SAP FI, SD, PP, and WM/EWM modules.
  
• Analyze business requirements and prepare functional specifications.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP MM issues within agreed timelines.
  
• Participate in implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.
  
• Conduct testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.
  
• Prepare functional documentation, process flows, and user guides.
  
• Coordinate with business users and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide solutions.
  
• Support data migration, cutover, and go-live activities when required.
  
• Provide knowledge transfer and support to end users.
  

Requirements

Required Skills

• 4–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM.
  
• Strong knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
  
• Good understanding of purchasing and inventory management.
  
• Experience with material master, vendor/business partner master, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods movements, and invoice verification.
  
• Knowledge of pricing procedures and release strategies.
  
• Good understanding of SAP MM integration with other modules.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP MM certification is an added advantage.
  
• Experience in S/4HANA is preferred.
  
• Exposure to SAP Fiori and modern SAP procurement processes is an advantage.
  
• Experience in implementation or client-facing projects will be preferred.
