Safar Staffing is seeking an experienced IBM iSeries Programmer/Analyst to support enterprise applications running in an IBM i / AS400 environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot IBM iSeries applications
Analyze business and technical requirements
Develop and maintain applications using RPG IV, RPGLE, and CL/CLLE
Work with DB2 for i and SQL databases
Support batch processing, interfaces, reports, and production systems
Troubleshoot application and system issues
Test, document, and deploy application changes
Collaborate with business users, analysts, and technical teams

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

Strong IBM i / iSeries / AS400 experience
RPG IV and RPGLE programming experience
CL/CLLE experience
DB2 for i and SQL knowledge
Experience supporting enterprise production applications
Strong analytical and communication skills
Legacy application modernization experience is a plus
