Construction Manager

Job description:

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or relevant qualification.
• 3-5 years of proven onsite construction experience.
• Strong experience managing and supervising construction sites.
• Previous experience in a Construction Manager, Civil Manager, Assistant Construction Manager, or similar role.
• Hands-on knowledge of civil construction, site execution, and construction practices.
• Ability to supervise contractors, site teams, and daily construction activities.
• Experience monitoring project progress, quality, materials, and timelines.
• Strong understanding of drawings, BOQs, measurements, and site requirements.
• Ability to coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
• Strong problem-solving and site management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise day-to-day construction activities at project sites.
• Ensure work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
• Coordinate with contractors, labor, engineers, architects, and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor site progress, materials, manpower, and work quality.
• Identify and resolve onsite construction issues promptly.
• Maintain proper site records, measurements, and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety and construction standards.
• Report project progress and site issues to management.

Preferred Candidate:
A practical, hands-on civil professional with strong onsite exposure who can independently manage construction activities and ensure projects are executed efficiently.
