The Associate I – Customer Service provides customer service, sales order, and inventory management support to the sales force, hospitals, clinics, and physicians. Under general supervision, this position ensures customer orders and inventory-related requests for products and services are handled accurately, efficiently, and promptly, including requests involving special circumstances.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide sales order and/or inventory management support to the sales force.
- Support hospitals, clinics, physicians, and other customers with product and service requests.
- Receive, process, and fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly.
- Provide inventory support and assist with product availability requirements.
- Handle orders and customer requests involving special circumstances.
- Maintain accurate information and documentation related to customer orders and inventory.
- Follow established company policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve order, inventory, or customer-related issues.
Requirements
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent specialized training/related experience required.
- Associate Degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
- Experience in the biotechnology, bio-instruments, medical device, or other regulated industry preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated customer service experience or experience in a closely related environment.
- Previous experience supporting customers, sales teams, order processing, or inventory activities preferred.
- Experience in the biotech, bio-instruments, or medical device industry is highly desirable.
Required Skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Demonstrated competence in English spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to process customer requests accurately and efficiently.
- Knowledge of applicable practices and procedures.
- Ability to learn and follow company products, policies, programs, and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively with sales representatives, hospitals, clinics, physicians, and internal teams.
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma + 2 years of relevant customer service experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field + customer service/order management experience within the medical device, biotechnology, or bio-instruments industry.
