Our client is a leading Nigerian conglomerate with diversified operations spanning Fire-Fighting Equipment, Power Generation (Diesel, Gas and Solar/Hybrid Generators), Construction, Shipping Services, Air Cooling Systems, Warehousing, Facility Management, Boat Building and Export of Agricultural Commodities.

Job Summary: The Head of Human Resources will be responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the Company

Job Responsibilities
- Align people strategies, culture, and executive policies directly with overarching business goals.
- Direct workforce planning, recruitment, and employer branding to attract and retain top-tier talent.
- Lead performance management, succession planning, and change management during organizational growth.
- Design, implement, and evaluate continuous learning programs to boost workforce skills and productivity.
- Manage competitive compensation and benefits frameworks in coordination with financial budgets.
- Drive employee engagement, open communication, and resolution of workplace grievances and conflicts.
- Oversee HR operations, HRIS data, legal compliance, and executive metric reporting.
Job Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA is an advantage).
- Minimum of 8 years progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, HRCI) required.
- Proven track record in strategic HR leadership, change management, and organizational development.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
