Technical Officer – Water Infrastructure Projects

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Technical Officer to support field activities, data collection, and technical implementation of water infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will assist in site supervision, basic technical tasks, and coordination of project activities under the guidance of senior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Field Support:

• Assist in site supervision and construction activities.
  

• Support installation of pipelines, pumps, and related infrastructure.
  

• Participate in site inspections and data collection.
  

Technical Assistance:

• Support engineers and senior officers in project execution.
  

• Assist in preparation of basic drawings and documentation.
  

Monitoring & Reporting:

• Record site activities and prepare daily/weekly reports.
  

• Track materials and equipment usage.
  

Compliance & Safety:

• Follow safety procedures and site regulations.
  

• Support implementation of HSE standards.
  

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• OND/HND/BSc in Engineering or related technical field.
  

• Minimum of 2–4 years of relevant experience.
  

• Experience in construction or water projects is an advantage.
  

Technical Competencies:

• Basic knowledge of engineering drawings and tools.
  

• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
  

• Ability to work in field environments.
  

Personal Attributes:

• Eagerness to learn and grow professionally.
  

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
  

• Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines.
  

Benefits

Salary: 200,000 - 250,000
