Cleaner

We are looking for a reliable individual who can maintain a clean, organised environment and prepare meals as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain assigned areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and wiping furniture and surfaces.
  

• Keep washrooms clean and sanitised, and replenish essential supplies.
  

• Prepare and cook meals as required.
  

• Prepare and serve tea, coffee, and other refreshments.
  

• Clean kitchen surfaces and equipment, wash utensils, and store them neatly.
  

• Handle and store food safely, monitor expiry dates, and dispose of spoiled items appropriately.
  

• Carry out grocery shopping and other assigned errands within approved budgets, submit receipts, and return any balance.
  

• Organise supplies, monitor stock levels, and report replenishment needs.
  

• Empty bins, clean waste containers, and dispose of waste properly.
  

• Use cleaning products and equipment safely, keeping chemicals separate from food.
  

• Report damage, equipment faults, and maintenance issues promptly.
  

• Prioritise daily tasks, complete duties on time, and communicate any challenges.
  

• Assist with other related duties as assigned and adapt to changing work requirements.
  

Requirements

• Practical skills in both cleaning and cooking.
  

• Ability to prepare a variety of meals.
  

• Good knowledge of food hygiene and safe cleaning practices.
  

• Honesty, punctuality, and reliability.
  

• Ability to follow instructions and manage daily tasks.
  

• A polite attitude and willingness to learn.
  

• Reside within Nairobi, with easy access to Westlands.
