Housekeeper for a Family in Okatie

The ideal candidate will be comfortable with detailed home cleaning and organization, including dusting, sweeping porches, caring for outdoor furniture, cleaning limestone and hardwood floors, maintaining specialty sinks and surfaces, doing dishes and laundry, organizing closets, drawers, and the pantry, changing and arranging fresh flowers, and keeping the home consistently neat and polished. They may also assist with errands, grocery shopping, airport pickups using their own vehicle, and dog sitting/walking while the family travels.

For candidates interested in closer to 25 hours per week, the role can expand to include meal preparation, cooking, grocery runs, and additional household support throughout the week. The family frequently hosts guests around Thanksgiving and from after Christmas through New Year’s, so weekend and holiday flexibility—particularly being available to work on Thanksgiving—is important.
