Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Fitter / Industrial Mechanic / Metalworker

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain, inspect, troubleshoot and repair production machinery, industrial equipment and operational facilities.
  

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure smooth plant operations.
  

• Independently execute mechanical fitting, fabrication and metalworking activities in the workshop.
  

• Identify mechanical faults, diagnose equipment breakdowns and carry out necessary repairs to minimise production downtime.
  

• Replace defective, damaged and worn-out machine components as required.
  

• Maintain proper documentation and records of maintenance, servicing and repair activities.
  

• Perform metal fabrication and machining operations, including welding, drilling, grinding, turning, milling and sawing.
  

• Read and interpret technical drawings, engineering plans and manufacturing documents.
  

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, hygiene requirements and quality standards.
  

Requirements

• Completed vocational training / ITI / Diploma in Industrial Maintenance Fitting, Metalworking, Mechatronics, Industrial Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering or Machining Technology.
  

• Minimum  1-2 years of relevant hands-on experience in industrial machinery maintenance, equipment servicing and mechanical repairs.
  

• Practical knowledge of metalworking, fabrication and machining processes, including welding, drilling, grinding, turning and milling.
  

• Ability to operate workshop tools, equipment, and industrial machinery independently.
  

• Good understanding of technical drawings, mechanical components and manufacturing documentation.
  

• Knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and breakdown management.
  

• Ability to follow industrial safety procedures, quality standards and hygiene guidelines.
  

• Valid Category B Driving Licence.
  

Preferred Candidate Backgrounds: Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Fitting, Metal Fabrication, Mechatronics, Industrial Machinery Maintenance and Manufacturing.
