Sales Associate

We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused, and motivated Sales Associate to join our sales team in Dubai.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, promoting products, handling sales transactions, maintaining product displays, and supporting daily store operations.

The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine interest in helping customers find products that meet their needs. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.
  
• Provide accurate information about product features, prices, availability, and promotions.
  
• Assist customers with product selection and purchasing decisions.
  
• Maintain good knowledge of available products and services.
  
• Achieve individual and team sales targets as assigned by management.
  
• Promote current offers, discounts, and new products.
  
• Handle customer questions, requests, and concerns professionally.
  
• Process sales transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system when required.
  
• Assist with cash, card, and other approved payment methods.
  
• Issue receipts and assist with returns or exchanges according to company policy.
  
• Arrange merchandise and maintain attractive product displays.
  
• Replenish shelves and ensure products are correctly priced and labeled.
  
• Monitor stock availability and report shortages to the supervisor.
  
• Assist with receiving, checking, and organizing incoming merchandise.
  
• Support regular stock counts and inventory checks.
  
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, shelves, and storage areas.
  
• Coordinate with cashiers, warehouse staff, and other sales team members.
  
• Follow company policies, customer service standards, and store procedures.
  
• Report damaged products, pricing errors, or customer complaints to the supervisor.
  
• Assist with store opening and closing activities.
  
• Perform other sales and retail duties assigned by management.
  

Requirements

Educational Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
  
• Additional training in retail sales or customer service is beneficial.
  

Experience Requirements

• Previous experience as a Sales Associate, Retail Sales Assistant, Sales Executive, or Customer Service Representative is preferred.
  
• Experience in retail stores, supermarkets, shopping malls, fashion outlets, electronics, or similar environments is an advantage.
  
• Fresh graduates with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn may also be considered.
  
• UAE retail experience is preferred but not mandatory.
