Physical Therapist Assistant

A leading home health organization in Salem, Oregon is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join its growing rehabilitation team!

Pay: $38.00 - $44.00/hour

Physical Therapist Assistant Opportunity:

• Full-time, permanent, direct-hire position
  
• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM schedule
  
• Guaranteed weekly pay
  
• $5,000 sign-on bonus available

Physical Therapist Assistant Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy according to the direction of the Physical Therapist and physician's plan of care
  
• Treat patients to relieve pain, restore function, and maintain maximum performance
  
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, muscle re-education, and prosthetic training
  
• Utilize therapeutic modalities including heat, cold, water, electricity, ultrasound, and massage
  
• Observe and report patient responses to treatment and changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
  
• Educate patients on the proper use of wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, and orthotic or prosthetic devices
  

Physical Therapist Assistant Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program with an Associate's Degree required
  
• Current Oregon Physical Therapist Assistant license required
  
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
  
• Valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle required
