This role leads payroll system integration to meet evolving business requirements and drive system efficiency, and oversees the organization's timekeeping and payroll functions to ensure pay is processed accurately, on time, and in compliance with applicable government regulations.
Payroll System Efficiency & Vendor Partnership
•Lead the strategic management and execution of overall payroll operations delivery.
•Lead Workday service enhancement, systems design, reporting, and project management, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
•Identify and establish new payroll partners, and manage the portfolio of existing partners, to meet the company's growth objectives.
•Set strategic direction with payroll vendor partners, defining clear goals and measurable business outcomes.
•Build relationships across products, industries, and services; benchmark practices to identify opportunities that further enhance payroll management efficiency.
Payroll Management
•Ensure operational goals and objectives are achieved across all assigned functions.
•Partner with stakeholders and process owners to implement HCM and payroll platforms, ensuring efficient and accurate configuration aligned with business requirements and strategy.
•Perform periodic audits and analysis of payroll and timekeeping processes and reports.
•Investigate shortfalls, issues, and complaints in current business processes, and implement remedial, corrective, and preventative actions.
•Collaborate with stakeholders and process owners to enhance productivity, customer satisfaction, and team engagement.
•Develop and implement standard and custom reports and processes based on client needs and local legislative requirements.
•Drive the development, implementation, and maintenance of People Operations service delivery, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent work experience.
•7+ years of experience leading a multinational payroll team.
•Strong knowledge of US payroll
•Deep knowledge of local and regional statutory taxes, benefits, and other withholdings, including pre/post-tax treatment.
•Proficient in HCM systems and payroll system enhancement.
•Experience managing end-to-end payroll and data management processes at a global scale.
•Experience in a Global Shared Services organization with 5,000+ headcount (desirable).
•Knowledge of Service Management systems/tools (desirable).
•Prior experience with ERP systems; Workday strongly preferred.
•Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
