POS & Hardware Channels Manager

Kolomoni Microfinance Institution (Gambia) is a CBG-licensed microfinance institution serving customers across The Gambia. We are recruiting a POS & Hardware Channels Manager for our Merchant Business & Digital Payments function.

THE ROLE
You will own the complete POS and acceptance-hardware lifecycle, ensuring devices are securely controlled, selectively deployed, active, productive and supported. The measure is not terminals shipped but terminals transacting. You will report to the Head, MBDP.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Develop the POS and hardware channel strategy, operating standards and annual deployment plan.
  
• Coordinate procurement, receipt, custody, configuration, deployment, activation, maintenance, retrieval, redeployment and controlled disposal.
  
• Apply evidence-based placement criteria using merchant demand, expected throughput and unit economics.
  
• Set inventory, maker-checker, chain-of-custody, repair and asset-reconciliation controls.
  
• Lead terminal performance monitoring, inactive-terminal management and redeployment.
  
• Lead the repair function and enforce diagnosis, repair, swap, backlog and technician productivity standards.
  
• Own warranty and RMA workflows, and investigate losses, tampering and unexplained movement.
  

Requirements

• Seven or more years in payments, terminal estate management, acquiring, device operations or a related field.
  
• Practical command of inventory control, chain of custody and asset reconciliation.
  
• Experience of terminal management systems, remote configuration and over-the-air updates.
  
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
