Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Technical Project / Program Manager who has evolved from a hands-on software engineering background into delivery and program leadership. The ideal candidate should possess deep understanding of software development lifecycles, enterprise architecture, engineering delivery, stakeholder management, and large-scale program execution.

This role requires someone who can effectively bridge business and engineering teams while driving execution across multiple technology initiatives.

Candidates with prior development experience in Java, .NET, or Python environments will be strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise technology projects and programs
  
• Manage multiple concurrent workstreams across engineering, product, QA, DevOps, and business teams
  
• Drive project planning, estimation, execution tracking, risk management, and delivery governance
  
• Collaborate with engineering teams on architecture discussions, technical dependencies, and solution planning
  
• Translate business requirements into actionable engineering deliverables
  
• Monitor project health, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and delivery quality
  
• Identify and mitigate delivery risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies proactively
  
• Ensure adherence to SDLC processes, agile methodologies, and engineering best practices
  
• Facilitate stakeholder communication, status reporting, and executive-level updates
  
• Drive sprint planning, release management, and cross-functional coordination
  
• Support teams in resolving technical and operational challenges during project execution
  
• Establish delivery metrics, KPIs, and continuous improvement practices
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 12–15 years of overall IT experience with significant experience in project/program management
  
• Strong prior hands-on software development experience in at least one of the following:
  • Java
    
  • .NET
    
  • Python
    
• Proven transition from engineering/development into delivery leadership roles
  
• Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, microservices, cloud platforms, and enterprise application development
  
• Experience managing large-scale engineering programs and distributed teams
  
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and SDLC methodologies
  
• Experience in stakeholder management and executive communication
  
• Ability to manage technical discussions with architects and engineering teams
  
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
  
• Experience with project tracking and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in enterprise digital transformation programs
  
• Exposure to cloud ecosystems such as Azure or AWS
  
• Understanding of AI/ML or data-driven platforms is a plus
  
• PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications preferred
  
• Experience managing global delivery teams and client-facing engagements
