Your Role As an Occupational Therapist you will: • Provide disability management services as part of a community based interdisciplinary care model. • Conduct musculoskeletal, psychosocial, cognitive and functional assessments. • Perform home safety and home modification assessments. • Develop and implement Occupational Therapy treatment plans that are client centered, evidence based and focused on physical, cognitive and psychological recovery. • Utilize and supervise Rehabilitation Assistants or Kinesiologists during service delivery. • Collaborate with doctors, healthcare providers, employers and insurance adjusters to optimize patient outcomes. • Conduct worksite based services, including job site visits, ergonomic assessments and return to work planning and monitoring. • Formulate detailed reports and recommend services based on assessment findings. Qualifications • Degree in Occupational Therapy. • Eligibility for Provisional or Full Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists in the province of practice (COTBC, ACOT or COTO). • Professional liability insurance upon start date. • Valid driver's license.
