Procurement Officer

We’re recruiting a Procurement Officer for one of our clients, a leading organization in the energy sector based in Dubai, UAE.

About Our Client:

Our client is a leading provider of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) services for power generation and desalinated water production, with a strong international presence. Operating across more than 10 countries in the Middle East & North Africa, South Africa, Eastern Europe, and Vietnam, the company manages a significant portfolio of over 28,000 MW of power generation capacity and more than 5.3 million m³/day of desalinated water production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the energy or related industries
  
• Prepare commercial bid evaluations for high-value tender contracts
  
• Assist in developing and managing RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs
  
• Support procurement operations and workflows, coordinating with different departments to ensure services are delivered effectively and products are delivered on time and according to requirements
  
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for products and services, from defining the scope of work through to coordination with the Logistics Department
  
• Manage and maintain vendor contracts, including negotiating and drafting contract terms and conditions
  
• Analyze and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality, cost, and delivery requirements
  
• Identify and onboard new vendors while supporting vendor development initiatives
  
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders and RFQs using Jaggaer and SAP S/4HANA
