Job Title: Engineer - Test Engineering (EMS / PCBA)

 Experience: 5-6 Years in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform PCBA debugging, production testing, and failure analysis across multiple projects.
  
• Develop and manage test engineering processes, including NPI (New Product Introduction) testing.
  
• Define and execute test specifications, test strategies, validation plans, build plans, and end-to-end test reporting.
  
• Conduct manual testing, cold testing, bench-level testing, and DFT (Design for Testability) analysis.
  
• Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  
• Support ICT (In-Circuit Test) and FCT (Functional Circuit Test) development, validation, and ongoing production support.
  
• Ensure smooth production execution by monitoring yield trends, optimizing test processes, and maintaining tester uptime.
  
• Manage tester installation, validation, calibration, preventive maintenance, fixtures, and 4M (Man, Machine, Material, Method) requirements.
  
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams for technical discussions, issue resolution, and process improvements.
  
• Prepare and maintain test specifications, SOPs, Work Instructions, Checklists, PFDs, DHRs, SRS, WBS, project timelines, and validation documentation.
  

Quality & Compliance

• Apply quality tools and methodologies such as PFMEA, Control Plans, GRR, MSA, Cp/Cpk, IQ/OQ/PQ, and Quality Improvement Plans (QIP).
  
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, process capability, and manufacturing efficiency.
  

 Key Skills

• Strong PCBA debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  
• Hands-on experience in ICT, FCT, DFT, NPI, and production testing environments.
  
• Good understanding of electronics testing methodologies and EMS manufacturing processes.
  
• Knowledge of root cause analysis, yield improvement, and process optimization techniques.
  
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  
• Experience working in high-volume EMS manufacturing environments.
  
• Familiarity with test automation, fixture development, and validation activities.
  
• Exposure to Medical Devices, Industrial, Automotive, or Consumer Electronics products is an added advantage.
