1901 - Software Developer – VB.NET / C# / SQL Server

Role Overview

We are looking for a Software Developer to develop, maintain, and support software solutions used in manufacturing, inventory management, warehouse operations, labeling, barcode scanning, and ERP-related processes.

The role is approximately 80% software development and 20% technical support, working on both product development and customer implementations. You will translate customer requirements into reliable software and database solutions while supporting integrations and production environments.

Requisitos

• Hands-on experience with VB.NET and C#.
  

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and SQL query development.
  

• Experience developing and supporting Windows desktop applications.
  

• Understanding of REST APIs, TCP/IP, and serial communications.
  

• Experience with source control/versioning systems.
  

• Working knowledge of networking and troubleshooting data-access issues.
  

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  

• Strong problem-solving, communication, attention to detail, and customer-service skills.
  

• Ability to work 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM US Central Time.
  

Preferred

• Experience with Xamarin or .NET MAUI.
  

• Experience with manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, labeling, barcode scanning, or ERP environments.
  

• Experience with BarTender or similar labeling solutions.
  

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using VB.NET and C#.
  

• Create, maintain, back up, restore, and manage Microsoft SQL Server databases.
  

• Develop and optimize SQL queries, tables, and data integrations.
  

• Support desktop and web-based application architectures and deployments.
  

• Maintain source code using version control systems and document change history.
  

• Troubleshoot application, database, connectivity, and data-access issues.
  

• Support integrations using REST APIs, TCP/IP, serial communications, and barcode technologies.
  

• Support systems such as Scale Fusion, Data Manager, Lot Tracker, BarTender Suite, SQL Server, printer drivers, and custom software applications.
  

• Work directly with customer requirements and translate business needs into effective software solutions.
  

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting when required.
