Job Summary

Reporting to the Industrial Refrigeration Supervisor, the BIM Coordinator produces and coordinates models and shop/execution drawings (construction, sleeving, fabrication) using AutoCAD / Revit (or equivalent). The candidate contributes to multidisciplinary BIM coordination through model reviews and coordination meetings, integrating field and supplier information.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain plans and 3D models for industrial refrigeration, plumbing, heating, and cooling systems.
  

• Comply with current standards and codes.
  

• Coordinate dimensions and information between various sources: plans, job site measurements, coordination with other trades, and supplier details.
  

• Participate in project cost estimation using drawing and take-off (quantity extraction) technological tools.
  

• Attend BIM coordination meetings for major projects requiring them, prepare content (views, model), and assist in tracking coordination issues.
  

• Assemble and prepare various technical documents required for projects.
  

• Build templates, standards, and libraries to optimize production and harmonize deliverables.
  

• Create fabrication and installation sheets for the shop and field.
  

• Generate software-based material purchase lists for the Project Manager.
  

• Maintain excellent relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and company partners.
  

• Keep up-to-date with new products, solutions, and industry work methods to deliver the best solutions to clients and internal teams.
  

• Promote a Health and Safety culture among all employees, subcontractors, and clients.
  

• Perform any other related tasks.
  

Qualifications

• DEC in Building Systems Engineering Technology (Mécanique du bâtiment) or DEP in Industrial Drafting / Building Drafting.
  

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and a vehicle.
  

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM/Revit.
  

• Excellent command of spoken and written French (Mandatory - only fluent French speakers will be considered).
  

• Proficiency in the Microsoft 365 suite.
